HOW FUCKING MAJOR IS THIS!?!?!

LOS ANGELES (Fortune) -- In what came as surprising news on a Tuesday morning in Hollywood, California, local streetwear brand The Hundreds has been acquired in a covert high-stakes bidding war by Moet Hennessy - Louis Vuitton S.A., also known as LVMH.

From what has been gathered in a vague press release distributed by LVMH earlier this morning, the French holding company agreed to acquire privately-held The Hundreds is Huge, Inc. in a deal worth approximately $18 million in cash and stock.

The Hundreds, based in the Fairfax District of L.A., designs and distributes apparel that caters to the burgeoning "streetwear" category, a hotbutton forecasting term for what is next in hip, young fashion. Apparently, this is what initially attracted LVMH to the buzzworthy upstart label, which has been having difficulty as of late in maintaining the attention of young consumers. "Streetwear is natural to us," LVMH CEO and Chairman Bernard Arnault stated at a charity gala last Fall. "After all, Louis Vuitton did create the world's first all-over-print."

Police are awaiting toxicology reports to explain the death of the husband of Grammy-nominated British singer Corinne Bailey Rae.The 31-year-old musician was found dead on Saturday in the northern English city of Leeds, and a post-mortem examination on his body proved inconclusive.

The UK Press Association said Monday that West Yorkshire Police were expected to open an inquest this week, while a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs before later being released on bail pending further inquiries. SOURCE

Walking to the train I saw this ad "yes those jeans DO make you look fat". It was a simple ad. White background with those words spray painted in black! Then when I got to the train station, there was another that said "my mom always hated you SARAH MARSHALL". Obviously me spotting the ad twice within a 15 step radius means I must look into it! Ha!

I have been watching the Today show for pretty much my whole life (minus the few years I spent overseas). I love the energy between the co-hosts & Willard Scott's awkward jokes during his 'smuckers section'. Sometimes Ann Curry can be a bit annoying though.

Moral of the sory- this morning I learned that there is a site that just launched today that let's you watch any TV show ever. Ok, i don't know about eve, but they have a vast selection to pick from. You can also watch movies!! I saw 'The Usual Suspect' up there! woohooooo!!

Snickers Commercial...

This might have been one of snickers best commercial series. Last night we (Alaska &Mcfab) were walking up 6th ave last night, and some dude was selling flashing neon pins, and little dolls and fake puppies that were walking on the sidewalk..and it made me think of this commercial.Alaska & McFab killed the mood because they had never seen the ad.
